Rolinda’s World Renowned Orchid Portraits

An Orchid Portrait is a painting of one individual orchid.  

I create each portrait by first documenting and photographing the orchid so I have detailed information as I paint in the studio.  The experience of meeting each orchid, taking its measurements and writing its name, creates a special connection with this new friend.  

These portraits are meant to capture the spirit of each orchid more than to be a scientific replication.
